Creating and Posting a Job

SkyHive Enterprise can pull in real-time skill requirements for these positions by scanning through the posted job descriptions.

We’re able to identify the skills being represented in these job descriptions.

Step 1: Click Talent Acquisition/Matching on the left menu bar. If you don't see a menu bar, click on the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner, then select Talent Acquisition/Matching.

Step 2: Click the Add new job button in the top right corner.

Note: You can import jobs in bulk by selecting the More Actions tab and clicking Import Jobs

Step 3: Fill in the required fields: Job Title, Job Type, Department, Experience Level; check the box for Ongoing (Unlimited hires) if you plan on hiring multiple persons for this position.

You must also add a recruiter or hiring manager. This posting will then appear under their My Jobs tab.  (View their experience) 

Step 4: Under JOB SETTINGS you have the option to (1) upload an existing job description and have skills extracted from it, as well as (2) select the option to publish the job internally and/or externally

The "Job Visibility Settings" manage internal and external candidate profiles. Only internal profiles will be visible during the internal-only job posting phase, while external-only postings will display external profiles. This streamlines the sourcing process, ensuring the appropriate candidates are matched based on the job visibility setting. 

If you choose to upload a job description, you can upload a Word or PDF file or paste your job description in the text box. You can also select an Industry to provide more context for the role, which will help SkyHive generate more relevant skills.

Alternatively, there's an option to Generate a Job Description. 

This job description is automatically generated, and you can review it. 

Next, select Copy to Clipboard.

Please feel free to go ahead and post this description in the text box above, which you can modify. 

Once you finish uploading or pasting the job description, click EXTRACT SKILLS.

If you choose to CONTINUE WITHOUT EXTRACTION, SkyHive will produce a list of skills based on the skills required in the labor market for the position you're hiring for. 

Step 5: Based on proprietary labor market intelligence, SkyHive generates a list of skills associated with the position observed in the labor market.

Step 6: You can select relevant skills for this position and indicate whether they're a "must-have" or a "nice-to-have" skill by choosing between REQUIRED and OPTIONAL. 

Required = Orange Check 

Optional = Blue Check

SkyHive will continue populating skills from the most to least relevant by clicking on GENERATE MORE at the bottom.

Skills without a check mark are recommended based on the most commonly demanded for this job title within this region over the last seven days. These can also be added. 

Step 7: Below the recommended list of skills, you can manually search for skills you'd like included in your job offer.

Step 8: Below the search bar is a list of comprehensive skills this position requires, encompassing skills extracted from the job description and the skills you have either selected or manually added. 

There, you can click on a skill to adjust or remove it. These skills will be the main determining factor in matching candidates.

Step 9: Under the REQUIREMENTS section, SkyHive will provide a list of Suggested requirements for this role. Also, you can go ahead and manually search and add additional requirements.

Example: Bachelor's Degree, College Diploma, specific certifications etc.

Step 10: Under the DETAILS section, you can view and adjust your job description if you have uploaded one, or you can enter any additional details for the role if you didn't upload a job description.

Once you are finished, you can click SAVE & CONTINUE to proceed.

Step 11: Next, could you fill in the following location and date details:

• Check the Remote box if this is for a remote position
• Office 
• Address
• Extra Instruction 
• Job Start date

Step 12: Enter compensation information and additional information related to compensation and benefits. You can choose to hide the salary details from candidates by deselecting the "Compensation is visible to the candidates" box.

If a location is selected for a specific job posting, SkyHive will suggest a Recommended Minimum and Recommended Maximum based on labor market data. 

• Recommended Minimum: Based on labor market data for job title and location.
• Recommended Maximum: Based on labor market data for job title and location.

Step 13: The final step is to review your Job Offer details. You can click the EDIT button at the top-right corner of each section to edit your Job Offer.

Step 14: After editing your Job Offer, click PUBLISH OFFER at the bottom.

Optional 

By selecting Add this position to Positions list, this job will be added to the Positioned list under Enterprise Structure.
