Internal/External Matches for Skill Blueprints

Skill Blueprints now offers the ability to quickly view internal and external job matches to the sets of skills in the Skill Blueprint. This allows you to help identify job matches for an employee. 

Step 1: Select the Skill Blueprints tab from under the Skill Blueprint section.

Step 2: Click the New Skill Blueprint button to begin creating a new Skill Blueprint

Step 3: You will then be required to fill in the following information

  • Blueprint Name
  • Current Position - This would be required when looking at external job matches for an employee 
  • Description

Step 4: At the bottom of the page, you will add the desired skills along with their proficiency levels of your Blueprint. 

Select Save once completed.

Step 5: After selecting Save, a list of Internal and External matches will be revealed. 

Internal = Jobs posted from within your company

External = Jobs in the labor market based on the skills you previously added

Step 6: To view additional details, you have the ability to click on the blue arrow next to the role for a Match Breakdown. 

This will reveal Shared Skills, Partial Skills and Skills to Train, which are also considered to be gaps.
