Adding and Assigning a Career Blueprint

Career Blueprints allows you to create a Career Path template that contains a curated training curriculum that can be later applied to one or more employees at once.

Under the Career Blueprints tab, you will see the list of Career Blueprints currently available, with the ability to search by Career Blueprint Name.

Each Career Blueprint is named in “Initial Position --> Projected Position” format, with the Initial Position being the starting role of that learning journey, and Project Position its destination/target.

Adding a New Career Blueprint

Step 1: In order to add a new Career Blueprint, select the Career Blueprint tab under the Training & Development module, and click Add New Career Blueprint.

In the example below, we compare the Initial Position to the Projected Position defined within your Enterprise Structure.

  • Skills Match: This represents the percentage of how close of a match the two roles are based on their common skills.

  • Shared Skills: Skills both roles have in common.

  • Skills to Train: Where upskilling would be required to become a stronger match for the Projected Position

Top Relevant Training: Based on the courses available within your Course Catalog, these courses are recommended based on how well they can cover the Skills to Train.

  • Download to Excel: Downloads all of the information below into a spreadsheet.

  1. You can sort by Skills Match, Training Provider, Maximum Price, Duration, Location, Course Type, and Language based on the training opportunities.
  2. Search Course allows you manually search for courses from your Course Catalog that were not presented. (Example: Mandatory courses)
  3. Once you have selected courses, you can check off the order in which they should be completed while also having the opportunity to re-order them.
  4. Course Details such as level, price, covered skills and additional skills will be presented. (Note: You can click on the course title to view more details or visit the external link)
  5. Adding a course will cover the Skills to Train to the far right side.
  6. The total price will be calculated based on the courses added.
  7. Skills to Train represent the gaps between the initial and projected positions. (Note: Top Skills are determined based on how often it is demanded within the labor market. You can click on the skill for more detail.
