Change Status of a Candidate

Internal Candidates 

For internal candidates, you will have the following options to choose from:

  • Change Status to Interviewing: Appropriate if you decide to proceed with interviewing the employee 
  • Change Status to Rejected by HR: Appropriate if you do not wish to proceed with interviewing the employee
  • Change Status to Rejected by Candidate: It's appropriate if you have invited the candidate to interview and they did not want to proceed with the interviewing process.
  • Add Skills to Profile: Selecting this option will ensure the skill is added to their profile 
  • Endorse Skills: To Endorse a skill means providing your expert's opinion of the partial/missing skills (This is not directly added to their profile)
  • Recommend /Train Missing Skills: Recommend or assign specific training courses to cover the employee's skill gaps to this position
  • Assign Mentorship: Assign the employee with a mentor to cover the employee's skill gaps in this position
  • Add New Note: This allows you to make a note on their user profile only viewable by other Admins
  • Download to Excel: This allows you to download their public information to excel

External Candidates 

For external candidates, you will have the following options to choose from:

  • Change Status to Interviewing: Appropriate if you decide to proceed with interviewing the candidate 
  • Change Status to Rejected by HR: Appropriate if you do not wish to proceed with interviewing them
  • Change Status to Rejected by Candidate: Appropriate if the candidate does not wish to proceed to the interviewing process
  • Add New Note: This allows you to make a note on their user profile only viewable by other Admins
  • Blocklist: This will reject them from positions they have applied for and automatically reject their future applications
  • Download to Excel: This allows you to download their public information to excel
