Added: Skills Watchlist for Job Definitions
We are pleased to introduce the Skills Watchlist feature, designed to help HR Department Admins and above stay informed about new emerging and disappearing skills for their job definitions. This update is available under the Job Architecture Release feature.
What's New:
-
The Overview page now includes a Skills Watchlist section, where HR Admins can add up to five job definitions for a single enterprise.
-
Users can view new emerging and disappearing skills for each job definition at a glance.
-
When adding a job definition to the watchlist, HR Admins can specify which users will receive notifications about skill changes.
-
Users can edit the notification list for each job definition in the watchlist and have the option to remove job definitions from the watchlist.
-
Clicking on a job definition in the watchlist displays a detailed page with disappearing, constant, and emerging skills compared to the current job definition.
-
HR Admins can quickly edit job definitions from the watchlist and receive notifications when new skills are detected.
This update aims to provide HR Department Admins with a more efficient way to monitor skill trends and make informed decisions about job definitions. We hope this new feature enhances your experience with our platform.
Improved: Enhanced Excel Export for Skill Trends
We've improved the Excel export feature for enterprises with LMISkillTrendV2 enabled. This update addresses the exported Excel file issues and provides a more comprehensive view of skill trends.
What's New:
-
For enterprises with LMISkillTrendV2 OFF, the exported Excel file remains unchanged.
-
For enterprises with LMISkillTrendV2 ON, the exported Excel file now includes an updated Skill Trends section.
-
The Skill Trends section now features three new spreadsheets, providing a more detailed breakdown of skill trends:
-
Top Emerging Skills
-
Top Constant Skills
-
Top Disappearing Skills
-
Each new spreadsheet contains the skills presented on the UI in the Skill Trends section, specific to the position.
-
The updated Skill Trends section covers Technical, Functional, and Soft Skills for a more comprehensive analysis.
Note: A SkyHive Administrator must enable this since it is an Advanced Setting
Improvement: Talent Matching (Acquisition)
We are excited to announce the release of our redesigned Talent Acquisition V2, which aims to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.
What's New:
-
The Talent Acquisition Module features a new UI for All Active Jobs, My Team, and Archived Jobs.
-
The redesigned tables, sorting, and filtering options provide a more intuitive and efficient way to manage job listings.
-
A new Management Level filter has been added, allowing users to sort jobs based on their management level quickly.
-
The Job Creation and Edit flow remains unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition to the new UI.
-
The Job Details page has been updated with a new header, and management-level information can be viewed when provided during job creation.
-
The Job Opportunities section for worker profiles has also been updated with a new UI, including improved sorting, filtering, and pagination options.
We hope these updates enhance your experience with our Talent Acquisition Module and make managing job listings more efficient and enjoyable.
Note: A SkyHive Administrator must enable this since it is an Advanced Setting
Improvement: Improved Job Title Normalization with PCT Search
In our ongoing efforts to enhance job title normalization, SkyHive uses PCTs to establish connections and relationships for any given job within an organization. However, we understand that mapping a job to a clustered title may only sometimes be 100% accurate. To address this, we've introduced a new search feature that allows users to find and select the closest PCT for their Job Definition.
What's New:
-
This feature is available under the Job Architecture setting.
-
When a user enters a job definition name, and the Labor Market Title is enabled for the type, the system will automatically suggest the closest labor market title.
-
If the suggested title isn't accurate, users can manually search for a closer PCT for the Job Definition.
-
Users can enter keywords into the search field to display typeahead suggestions.
-
Users must choose an existing PCT from the list, as custom PCTs are prohibited
Improvement: Job Architecture Flexibility for Skills Proficiency
Organizations embarking on a skills transformation journey may still need to have the capacity to define proficiency levels for each skill in every job. To accommodate this, we are introducing a new feature that allows organizations to add skills without specifying proficiency levels.
This feature is available under the Job Architecture Release feature flag and will only work when Profile V2 is enabled.
What's New:
-
Customize whether job definition types should have skills proficiency or not.
-
Under the Skills attribute, a toggle is available for "No skills proficiency."
-
When "No skills proficiency" is enabled, the Job Definition View/Edit pages and Edit skills flow will be modified to add skills as required without proficiency levels.
-
The Profile's Match to Positions algorithm will be adjusted for employees when "no skills proficiency" is enabled, basing the match on whether the user has or does not have the required skills.
-
The "Required level" column on the skills and gaps table will be hidden when "no skills proficiency" is enabled.
-
The Gaps table will display skills not present on the profile.
-
Skills Match will be affected for Job Definitions with "available as employee" enabled and on the Employee tab in the Job Definition detail page.

Added: Manager Dashboard
We're excited to announce the release of our new Manager Dashboard feature, designed to help managers support their teams on their skills transformation journey. This feature is only available to Manager user types.
The Manager Dashboard provides a default page for Manager user types to view important statistics about their team. This includes the number of direct reports the manager is responsible for, the number of ongoing training currently assigned to their team, and the number of active career paths of their team members. These statistics are clickable, allowing managers to access more detailed information quickly.
- Average skill per employee
- Top 5 on-going career paths
- Top 5 positions with largest skill gap
- Average skill gap by skill type
Note: For managers without direct reports assigned, the dashboard will display an empty state with a message indicating no report data to display.
Added: Career Path 2.0 | Internal Career Suggestions
Our Career Path 2.0 feature now includes Internal Career Path suggestions.
Note: A SkyHive Administrator must enable this since it is an Advanced Setting
A new internal career path suggestions section displays tailored recommendations for advancing within your company.
It will recommend up to three manager roles above your current level and related roles at your manager's level. This provides visibility into potential career progressions.
The search experience remains unchanged - results will still include external roles even if that option is disabled in settings. We've also added validation to hide the internal suggestions if a user lacks a direct manager assignment.
Added: Job Definitions Attached to HR Department Admin's Departments
We've updated permissions to allow HR Department Admins to view, edit, create, import and archive job definitions associated with their assigned departments.
HR Department Admins can more easily focus on the job definitions most relevant to their role. The job definition module, import/export features, and employee assignment workflows have been tailored accordingly. Department dropdowns will automatically filter to those under the HR Department Admin's purview. Imports will attach new definitions to the proper department.
In addition, employees outside an HR Department Admin's scope will remain visible for reference but cannot be directly managed.
Key highlights:
-
Filtered job definition access by department
-
Restricted creation/editing to assigned departments
-
Import/export permissions for relevant departments only
-
Employee assignment limited to department scope
-
Streamlined interface focused on core HR Department Admin tasks
Improved: Enterprise Position Pre-fill (Workforce Planning/Talent Acquisition)
Pre-filled skills and descriptions can be added to Workforce Planning positions or Job Offers directly from existing Enterprise Positions or Job Definitions.
Now, when starting a new Workforce Planning and selecting an Enterprise Position, all skills and levels will carry over from the source Position. Users can also seamlessly generate job offers based on predefined job definitions and pre-populate key details to streamline posting.
Some key benefits:
- Consistency across positions and job postings
- Time savings from reduced data entry
- Easy replication of existing position requirements
Select the relevant Enterprise Position or Job Definition when initiating a new Workforce Plan or Job Posting. All required fields will auto-populate to reduce manual effort.
Example:
Improved: LMI Clustered Titles
We're introducing improvements to better support customers using our Suggested Clustered Title to Position feature without the full Labor Market Insights module.
When LMI is disabled, but Title Clustering is enabled, position creation and editing flows will now focus only on clustered titles. Users will still see suggested titles. However, non-essential buttons and comparisons relying on full LMI data will be removed to avoid confusion.
The title dropdown and core title assignment will remain fully functional. This allows an experience of title suggestions even with limited LMI. The updated flows also provide a cleaner interface.
Overall, the changes aim to offer greater usability and clarity around available Title Clustering capabilities.
Improved: Training Revamp for Core Skills Training
Managers can assign targeted training to direct reports more efficiently based on team skill requirements.
A new "Find Training Plan" button links to relevant courses in the employees' Core Skills tab. Employees then access assigned courses through their new Team Training dashboard.
This release also improves the learning experience. Training cards now include accessible course overviews and coverage details. Users can expand and collapse card sections for ease of scanning.
Our goal was to strengthen connections between performance management and learning.
Note: The Team Training and Core Skills features can be enabled or disabled enterprise-wide.
Improved: Import Report Statuses
We've enhanced the import report statuses to clarify import results.
A new "Partially Completed" status has been introduced to indicate when an import contained both successful and failed records.
Previously, imports with any failed records would still show as "Completed" with a green checkmark.
The new "Partially Completed" status features a yellow warning icon. Any report with at least one successful record and one failed record will now display this status. This gives users a quick visual cue that the import was only partially successful.
Improved: Courses Export - Reference ID
The Courses Export file now includes a new "Course Reference ID" column after the course name.
This unique identifier allows administrators to track critical metrics for each course over time.
The updated export format is compatible with all our standard reporting integrations.
