Assess Employee Skills and Provide Feedback

Options:

  1. Assess one or multiple skills at once as a manager.

  2. Leave comments and feedback that are visible to the employee.

  3. Leave comments and feedback that are not visible to the employee.

  4. Ensure employees can see their manager's comments and feedback on skill assessments when intended.

Step 1: Access the Employee Skills Assessment Feature

Please make sure the ProfileV2 feature is enabled for your account. This will allow you to assess your direct reports' skills.

Step 2: Assess Individual Skills

You can assess each skill one by one using the 3-dot menu. Click on the menu and select the proficiency level for the assessment.

Step 3: Bulk Assess Skills

To assess multiple skills simultaneously, multi-select the skills and perform a bulk assessment. This will save time and ensure consistency in your evaluations.

Step 4: Add Comments and Feedback

Provide comments and feedback for your direct reports to see. These comments can be visible to the employees and help them understand your assessment.

Step 5: Review Comment Visibility and Length

Ensure that the comments are either visible or not visible to the employee, as intended. Keep in mind that comments should be limited to 2000 characters. Select Save. 

Employee View

If an assessment includes a visible comment, the employee will see an icon indicating feedback available.

Why Do Assessments Matter?

Depending on the"Type of Assessment Used for Skills Matching" set, this will impact Talent Matching, Skills Development, Workforce Strategy, Skills Blueprint, and Match to Position.
