Job Definition Type Configuration Settings

When the updated Talent Architecture Release has been Enabled, you can create linked and unlinked sections of the Job Definition types. 

Here's an example of a typical hierarchy of Job Definition types:

Job Family Group

Broadest category

• Examples: Academic, Administrative/Professional
• Contains related job families

Job Family

Groupings of jobs with similar functions

• Example: Human Resources
• Contains related job profiles

Job Profile

Most specific category

Describes the general characteristics of a position

• Special skills required
• Management level
• Other qualifications

Note: These are Advanced Settings that can only be configured by a SkyHive Administrator
