Manager View: Training Overview

Overview

To ensure a seamless transition to the new training recommendation process, we have updated the user interface for the Manager view.

This new functionality can become available when Integration/Recommendation Mode is enabled by a SkyHive administrator. 

To access this overview, select the Training tab under Training and Development/Skills Development. 

Training Overview insights included:

    1. Ongoing Training
    2. Waiting for employee acceptance
    3. Completed in last 30 days
    4. Completion rate in 30 days

Pending Requests

Note: If this functionality is disabled, the section can be hidden.

Active Tab 

  • Includes the Employee and Course name, Date requested, and the Date started.
  • Filter by All | Ongoing | Requested | Waiting for employee
  • Search for an employee in the search field

Completed Tab

  • Includes Employee and Course name and the Date Completed
  • Filter by Course Provider

Archived Tab

  • Includes Employee and Course name and the Date Completed Rejected or Canceled.
  • Filter by All | Canceled | rejected | rejected by employee | Withdrawn by employee | Withdrawn by HR
  • Search for an employee in the search field

Assigning Training 

Under each section, the Manager or Admin can Assign Training to their employees. 

Employee Profile

Under a specific employee's profile, you can Assign Training after selecting the Actions dropdown.

You can search for a course by entering a skill or a maximum of three skills.

Courses that appear will directly support the skill selected.

Once you have successfully assigned the course, you will receive a message on your screen indicating completion. 

The employee will also be notified.

Employees Tab

Under the Employees, you can assign training by selecting the three-dot menu to the far right of any name.

You can search for a course by entering a skill or a maximum of three skills.

Courses that appear will directly support skills gaps from the employee or employees selected.

Once you have successfully assigned the course, you will receive a message on your screen indicating completion.

Training Tab 

By selecting the Assign new training option, you can choose an employee or in bulk and assign training courses to bridge gaps.

Note: The Pending Requests section can also be hidden. 

You can then search and select the employee or set of employees you intend to assign training to.

Course Catalog Tab

Under your Course Catalog, you can assign training by selecting the Actions dropdown and Assign Training to the far right of any course.

You can then search and select the employee or set of employees you intend to assign training to.
