Improved: Talent Acquisition | My Job Improvements

With the recent introduction of the My Jobs tab, users who have been added to specific job postings as a Hiring Manager or Recruiter can view, edit or manage the posting. 

This allows the Hiring Manager or Recruiter to manage better the jobs they are responsible for. 

Additional Updates:

• When you create a new job and don't specify the Hiring Manager on the job creation, you will be designated as the Hiring Manager. 
• My Jobs tab will be the default landing tab for all Manager View for Talent Acquisition users. You can designate Hiring Manager or Recruiter to any user type with access to the Talent Acquisition tab. (Manager+)
• If you are tagged as the Hiring Manager and Recruiter, when you are in the My Jobs tab, you will have access to the job accordingly to the permission in the advanced setting, regardless of your user type.
• The Hiring Manager and Recruiter cannot be the same person.

 

Improved: Training Card 

We have made several visual improvements to the Training card under an employee's Training tab.

The most notable change is a new image, depending on the course type.

Improved: Disabling Profile Edits

When "Allow Employees to Edit Their Profile Details" is disabled, Manager user types and higher cannot edit all available employees. The only exception will be for an Owner. 

This includes Work Experience, Education, Credentials, and Hobbies, where the Edit button will be hidden. The Resume Extraction option will also be hidden. 

Improved: Managers Excluded from the Employees' View

Under the Manager View, the user roles of Manager, HR Department Admin, and HR Admin will no longer see themselves.

Improved: Profile Change Request - Approver Not Assigned

When an employee does not have a Direct Manager assigned, and the employee submits a skills/profile change request, in the "View Requests," the submitted request will now show the "Approver" as "—"

Once the request is approved/rejected by any managerial role user who has permission to approve the requests, the "Approver" column will display the name of the user who approved the request.

Added: Draft Position Status Update

A new 'Activate' option has been added to the three-dot menu to the far right of a Draft Position under the Enterprise Structure module. 

Improvements

Improved: Labor Market Overview Performance

We have enhanced the loading speed of each widget under the Labor Market Overview tab within the LMI Module. 

While there is no change to the functionality, you will see a performance improvement in loading data. 

Improved: Talent Acquisition Part-Time Hours 

Under the Talent Acquisition module, if a job type is marked as "Part-Time," the field "Number of hours per week" is no longer mandatory to fill in. 

Improved: Multi-Select Filters for Child Departments

Users can now select all child departments of a parent department when filtering Employees under the Employees Module. 

This will allow them to view the list of employees and associated analytics without manually selecting all child departments. 

Improved: Training Completion APIs Update

The Enterprise APIs have been updated to ensure training completion is properly synced from a third-party LMS into SkyHive. This ensures we can mark training completion while feeding the accurate Start and Completion dates.
