Added: Assign Position Skills at Sign-In
We have introduced a new setting only available to Owners that allows skills of an Enterprise Position to be pre-selected and attached if the employee has the same equivalent position on their profile during the creation process.
- How to Access: Settings > Enterprise Profile > Employee Profiles
- Title: Pre-select Enterprise Position Skills during employee onboarding
- Implement functionality when turned on: If the user profile created has a position exactly matched to an Enterprise Position, then pre-select the skills based on the Enterprise Position on "Step 5: Skills" of the new user onboarding flow.
In the example below, the skills were pre-selected because the user shares the same position as one already defined within the Enterprise.
Note: If a position is not found or does not match, ignore this setting and allow the user to continue as usual.
Added: Hide Match to Position
If Enterprise Positions haven't been defined or you don't want employees having access to Match to Position, we have added the ability to hide it.
Owners can hide Match to Position by accessing Settings > Employee Profiles > Allow Employee to view Match to Position tab.
- When enabled: Employees cannot see the Match to Position tab in their profile.
-
When disabled: Employees cannot see the Match to Position tab in their profile.
Improved
Improved: HR Department Admin Change/Create Role Higher than Worker
Change: HR Department Admin users can now promote a Worker user type to Manager, Analyst or HR Department Admin.
Create: Upon new user creation, HR Department Admin users can now assign these new employees with the user type of Manager, Analyst or HR Department Admin.
Improved: Bookmarked Jobs
Under the Bookmarked Jobs tab for employees, we have changed the Department tab to Source, allowing them to sort by external/internal bookmarked jobs.
This change is also reflected below.
Improved: Bulk Update Draft to Active for Position
Admin Users can now bulk-update draft positions to active by following these steps: Enterprise Structure page > Positions > Draft > Select all > Change to Active Positions.
Improved: Canceling a Job
When previously canceling a job, the user would be required to change the status to Archived, but we have now automatically moved the canceled job to the archived column.
Talent Acquisition > Three-dot menu > Change Status to Canceled
Improved: Update/Save Notifications for Blueprint Selection
When a user edits a Skill Blueprint via the Blueprint Selection tab and selects save, a message will now be shown that says:
- Title: Success
- Body: Skill blueprint has been updated successfully
Improved: Department Import Template
We have updated the current Department Import Template to ensure Core Skills and a Manager tab are included.

Added
Added: Setting to Allow Employees to Select Custom Positions
By enabling this setting, users adding a title to their profile can add their custom title rather than selecting from a drop-down menu.
Added: Positions Selection Options Setting
This new setting allows Owners to select what positions will show up for employees or managers when they add their current position titles to their profiles.
You can choose how the position drop-down shows up, which can show either Enterprise Positions, Labor Market Positions, or both.
-
Enterprise Positions Only: This will ensure that any positions added to a profile will be enterprise-specific, which you only define in your Enterprise Structure.
- Labor Market Positions Only: This will allow your employees and managers to select positions solely based on the labor market. This is useful if you don't have an enterprise structure created with defined roles.
To enable this setting go to Settings > Enterprise Profile > Employee Profiles
Improvements
Improved: Recruiter and Hiring Managers as Talent Acquisition job opportunity fields
We have added a section where Admins can add a hiring manager and/or recruiter to job descriptions in the Talent Acquisition module. This makes it easy to see who is responsible for the job opportunity.
Improved: New Internal Sub-Course Filter
This applies to any areas you search for training courses, namely the Training & Development and Course Catalogue sections. You will see them under the sub-filter Internal Courses if you create a course or import a file with internal courses. Previously this was only available for External courses.
This also helps you see whether a course provider is internal or external.
Improved: View Details of an Employee's Assigned Skills Specialization
In the past, when an admin or above would select an employee under the Assigned section in the Skills Specialization module, it would take them to the employee's profile.
Now, clicking on an employee's name will take you to a detailed page of their skills specialization progress.
To view the details of an Employee's skills specialization:
Step 1: Enter the skills specialization tab
Step 2: Click on the skills specialization you would like to view
Step 3: Click "Assigned Employees"
Step 4: Click on the employee whose details you would like to view
Step 5: This will take you to the details of their skills specialization progress
Improved: Strengthened Password Requirements
We have added additional password requirements when activating your SkyHive account, specifically 12 or more characters.
Note: Current passwords should continue to work until you are either resetting your password, a new user or click forgot password
Our system checks weak passwords against a database for weak passwords, so if your password is weak, an error will appear to strengthen it.
Improved: We've made it easier for employees to change their language settings.
We've allowed employees to change their language and profile settings easily.
Note: For owners, this improvement falls under the setting found by going to General Setting > Employee Profiles > Allow Employees to Edit Their Profile Details
Fixed
Fixed: Changed Dropdown Label "Department" to "Industry" in the Position Comparison section of the LMI Module.
This more accurately depicts the expected results of the filter, which shows positions within a selected industry rather than a department.
