Skill Specialization

We have introduced a new Skill Specialization module that allows People Leaders to assign you skill developments to build specific disciplines for you as an employee. 

 

There, you will see what Skills Specializations and Learning Activities have been assigned to you.

 

 

There will be four tabs available to view:

 

• Assigned: A Specialization that has been given to you
• In Progress: Courses that are in Progress
• Completed: Courses you have completed
• Endorsed: Who Endorsed your Skill Specialization

Under View Details, you can view General Details, Focus Skills and the complete Learning Activities. 

 

You can also start Training on this Skills Specialization assigned to you, which will change the status to In Progress. 

 

 

Under Learning Activities, you have the following options:

 

1. Selecting the Blue Arrow will reveal all Training Skills related to the course.
2. Selecting the course title will allow you to view details within the Course Catalog.
3. Selecting the three-dot menu will allow you to Start Training.

 

 

If you select Start Training, the status will change to In Progress.

 

 

To mark this course as Completed, visit Training & Development > Training > Active. 

 

Earned Specializations

These are specializations which you first have marked as completed, and then have been assessed and endorsed by a specialist. They will be added to your Skills Profile.

The following information will be presented:

• Skills Specialization Title
• Date Endorsed 

Select the blue arrow to the far right of an Earned Specialization to view more details. 

When expanded, the following information will be revealed. 

1. Focus Skills: Gained by completing this Earned Specialization 
2. Endorsed By: Who has endorsed this Earned Specialization 
3. View Details: This takes you to the Skill Specialization page. 

When selecting View Details, you will see all the previous details available as well as the new Endorsed status.
