Added: New User Type "Analyst"
We have added a new user type called "Analyst," where any user with this permission can access our LMI module, view statistics across the organization, and view and edit their profile only.
How to Access:
First, you must change an employee's user type, which can be accessed via the Employees module.
Note: Only Admins or Owners can change a user type
Next, select "Analyst," followed by Save.
Analyst View
As an Analyst, the user will now have access to the following:
- Employee Analytics
- Labor Market Intelligence
- Positions Skill Match
- Analytics (If this module is enabled)
Improvements
Improvements: Career Path - "Enter Your Own" Position Options
Currently, when a user creates a Career Path with the "Enter your own."
dropdown, it displays:
- Labor Market Positions/Titles
- Job Requisitions
- Enterprise Positions
There are scenarios where an organization may not want their employees to be able to build a Career Path beyond their open Job Requisitions or Enterprise positions.
To assist further, we have introduced a setting to control what is displayed from this list.
Owners can now determine which options they desire to have enabled.
Improvements: Apostrophes Allowed in Email Addresses
The ability to add a user or import users failed due to an apostrophe in an email address; we now accept this.

When building a Skill Specialization, the following details can be filled out:
* = Mandatory field
- Name *
- Deadline Type * (No Deadlines, Custom Dates, End Date Only)
- Prerequisite
- Specialization Endorsement * (Automatic after completion of all learning activities

- Description
The Admin then adds skills.
Before selecting Learning Activities, the Admin can set the Training Requirements and Approval Settings.
Once saved, the Admin can Edit the Training Plan and start building the Learning Activities for this Skill Specialization.
When adding courses, all skills previously selected will be pre-populated.
Note: The type of Specialization Endorsement is selected when outlining the details of the Skill Specialization.
Like the Managerial Assessment workflow, the Direct Managers and HR Admin can validate the employee's skills.
Earned Specialization will be added to the Employee's profile along with who Endorsed these Focus Skills.
Important Note: Please contact support@skyhive.io to learn more about Skill Specialization. We will be adding articles and videos to support you further.
Added: Show Pending Skills Requests on Employee Profile
If the "Require Profile Edit Approval" setting has been enabled, employees will have a Profile Changes module from the left-hand menu.
If the employee has a pending request, a Pending Skill Request tab will appear in the skills section of their profile.
Note: Selecting View Request will take the user directly to the Profile Changes tab.
To view the Pending Request, the user can click on the View Request option, which will take them directly to the Profile Changes tab.
Improvements
Improvements: Managers and Admins Can No Longer Assign Themselves Training
Previously, Managers and Admins could assign training to themselves within the Manager View, but we have removed this functionality.
For a Manager or Admin to request training, they must do so from their Employee View.
Note: Only Owners can assign training to themselves.
