You have SkyHive Enterprise at your fingertips – Congrats! Now you are wondering, how can my employees and organization get the most out of the platform?

We have you covered!

Here are the top 10 tips to help your employees stay engaged:

1. Get clear on your organization’s goals. When you went through solutioning, what were the business-critical item(s) that your organization wanted to solve? Of these items, which are the highest priority? These will be your organization’s focus area(s). There are numerous benefits that can be derived but focusing and honing in on one or two can add clarity and increase success early on.

2. Share benefits employees will receive from using the platform. In today’s world, we are bombarded with new technology and tools. When new initiatives are introduced, they can be met with apprehension and resistance (adoption takes time!). Employees will be more receptive if they understand what they can get out of using SkyHive Enterprise- this way, they know their time is being well spent.

3. Provide training to your employees. After sharing the benefits that employees can get out of using our platform, guide them through how to attain them. Review our video library and employee guide to share resources that pertain to your organization’s strategy. Host live training sessions with one of our customer training specialists. Host open office hours to field questions and provide additional training as needed.

4. Make SkyHive Enterprise part of your organization’s culture. Integrate the use of the platform into your organization’s processes. For example:

        a) Have leaders share the importance and their support during all-hands meetings.

        b) Define essential skills you want your employees to attain and provide these training opportunities to your employees.

        c) Encourage managers and employees to have 1:1 discussions centered around skills, career aspirations, and opportunities.

       D) Incorporate the use of SkyHive Enterprise into your performance review process.

5. Share success stories. When employees complete trainings, learn new skills, transition into new roles, create mentorships, etc., recognize these efforts and accomplishments. They can inspire and encourage others to engage with the platform in new ways.

6. Stay up to date on new product updates. Our dedicated team pushes out new product enhancements and features to improve and expand the employee experience. View our product updates here and share them with your employees.

7. Collect feedback from your employees. Conduct a survey to understand employee sentiment. Example questions include:

        a) What do you like most about SkyHive Enterprise?

        b) What features within SkyHive Enterprise would you like to learn more about?

        c) What features would you like to use in the future?

After you collect the feedback, determine items you can act on.

8. Work with your customer value specialists to understand how employees are engaging with the platform. Your Customer Value Specialist can provide insights and analytics on usage as well as best practices. This information can help you and your team understand what employees value and define future strategies.

9. Expand feature usage to unlock new opportunities for employees. Based on your organization’s goals, employee feedback, and Customer Value Specialist recommendations, determine features you would like to roll out to provide additional opportunities and benefits to your employees.

10. Share with employees what they can look forward to. Upon identifying new initiatives, share the news with your employees to take them on the journey with you and foster excitement. When acting on these initiatives, be sure to share resources, provide additional training, and communicate the benefits that employees will obtain in taking part.

Jehan - Thank you for posting this. This is a good checklist to go back to each quarter to ensure we are engaging our employees. I really like the suggestion to get feedback from the employees. We plan on surveying those employees who have completed mentor relationships as well as career paths to get their feedback. Thank you!
